You want something unique and different, something that only you have, but don’t where to start. Here’s a guide to help you on your journey.
Where to start?
Style
What’s your style? Are you glamorous? Casual? Boho? Vintage? Chic?
What metal would you like use?
Yellow gold (9k, 14k, 18k)
Rose gold (9k, 14k, 18k)

Type of Jewellery
Are you hoping to make a ring, bracelet, pendant, or earrings?
If it’s a ring, have you decided what finger it’s going on?
Bigger, bolder designs normally work well on middle or pointer fingers, while smaller designs work well on ring or little fingers. Sometimes deciding what finger you want to use can guide your style choice as well.
How often will you wear it?
Jewellery that you only wear on special occasions to jewellery that is worn everyday will have certain limitations on the construction and possibly the look.
Where do I go to look at different pieces?
I normally go through magazines, different search engines like google etc, pinterest, to look through heaps of different designs. I also have a program I can show you instore with thousands of different designs. It’s always a good idea to do this ahead of time, even if you only find elements of a piece you like, this is really helpful when designing your piece.
Gems
What colour gems would you like the piece to have? Do you want to showcase one particular gem Would you like diamonds in the piece? Or have you been given or inherited gemstones that you’d like to use?
Budget
It’s always good to have a budget in mind, the budget can change at any stage if you decide you’d like to spend more or less, but it gives us something to work with at the start.
